The International Islamic University Malaysia (Arabic: الجامعة الإسلامية العالمية بماليزيا‎; Malay: Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia), also known as IIUM or UIAM, is a public university in Malaysia. Its main campus is in Gombak, Selangor with its Centre for Foundation Studies in Petaling Jaya and Gambang, Pahang, and its medical-centric branch in Kuantan, Pahang. IIUM has two city campuses in Kuala Lumpur and will be opening a new campus in Bandar Universiti Pagoh. The university is sponsored by eight governments from the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC). It is distinct from the International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan and International Islamic University Chittagong in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
